White House In Turmoil As Voters Feel Trump Is Failing On Every Major Issue
What do the economy, health care, terrorism, and immigration have in common? They're all issues Trump is failing on, according to the American people.

What do the economy, health care, terrorism, and immigration have in common? Well, besides the fact that Donald Trump promised to be the best president “God ever created” to handle these issues, they’re all areas of policy in which the public believes the new president is failing.

According to a new CBS News poll, Trump is in negative territory on each of these issues.

Numbers via polling expert Will Jordan:

For the first time the CBS Poll has Trump underwater on all major issues

Economy -1
Terrorism -1
Immigration -17
Health care -27

These numbers stand in direct contrast to President Obama’s approval early in his first term in office. Despite an economy cratering and a public fuming at Wall Street for creating a financial crisis, the same CBS poll showed the former president in positive territory by 32 points.

In the economy that Obama handed Trump, with the stock market flying high and unemployment remaining low, Trump can’t even manage to be seen positively on that issue – perhaps because Americans recognize that his policies would plunge the country back into the same economic mess that President Obama spent two terms cleaning up.

Flynn offers to testify on Russia for immunity: report
President Trump's former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has reportedly told the FBI that he is willing to testify about the Trump campaign's potential ties to Russia, in exchange for immunity from prosecution, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

Flynn resigned in February, after it was reported that he misled White House staff on his interactions with Russia and had discussed sanctions with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak ahead of President Trump's inauguration.
The Journal reported, citing officials familiar with the matter, that the FBI and the House and Senate Intelligence committees that are investigating Russia's attempts to interfere in the U.S. election have not taken his lawyers up on the offer.

Intelligence agencies first announced beliefs of possible Russian election interference in October. Since then, the intelligence community has concluded interference from Moscow did occur, and multiple investigations have been launched into the Trump campaign's possible ties to Russia and communications amid the Russian hacks.

‘Strap in tight’: GOP strategist Rick Wilson connects the dots on the latest Devin Nunes bombshell
News that Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) received intelligence of possible surveillance of Trump administration officials from two people from within the Trump administration rocked the political world on Thursday — and one longtime GOP strategist thinks more explosive revelations are still to come.

GOP strategist Rick Wilson wrote a tweet storm on Thursday afternoon that connected the dots that link Nunes, White House officials Michael Ellis and Ezra Cohen-Watnick, White House political strategist Steve Bannon, and disgraced former National Security Adviser Mike Flynn.
“Two White House operatives — possibly improperly — accessed classified to pass it to Nunes as part of a political pushback operation,” Wilson began. “Who ordered it? Who asked for them to do so? If you think two lower-level guys took it upon themselves to make this play, I’ve got a Nigerian prince with $30 million dollars for you. Who is running the WH pushback operation on Trump’s Russia scandal? It rhymes with Beeve Stannon.”

From there, Wilson connected the entire story back to Flynn, who was ousted after it was revealed that he lied to the public and members about the Trump administration about the nature of his contacts with Russian government officials.
“Flynn’s stay-behind agent Cohen-Watnick was about to be shitcanned by [National Security Adviser H.R.] McMaster,” Wilson explained. “Cohen-Watnick — the NSC intel director — was a Flynnite from DIA days. Flynn was gone but the channel was still open.”

However, Wilson noted that both Bannon and Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner both personally pushed back on McMaster’s desire to fire Cohen-Watnick because he is “helping run the pushback operation on Russia with Nunes.”
“Strap in tight,” Wilson concluded. “It’s going to be a rough landing.”
