Trump Jr. Hinted at Review of Anti-Russia Law, Moscow Lawyer Says
A Russian lawyer who met with President Donald Trump’s oldest son last year says he indicated that a law targeting Russia could be re-examined if his father won the election and asked her for written evidence that illegal proceeds went to Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Russian support for Trump on Twitter started shortly after he announced bid: report
A new analysis of Twitter data finds that Russian Twitter support for President Trump started shortly after he launched his White House bid.
According to an analysis by The Wall Street Journal, support for Trump from Russian-linked Twitter accounts started weeks after Trump announced his run for president in June of 2015.
Previously, a U.S. intelligence assessment said Russian support over social media began as early as December 2015.
The analysis by the Journal — which looked through 159,000 deleted tweets from accounts operated by the Kremlin-backed Internet Research Agency — found the support may have started much earlier and showed the accounts offered significantly more praise for Trump than criticism.

So sieht kuhige Dummheit aus:
Trump asks Japan to build cars in the U.S. It already does
"Try building your cars in the United States instead of shipping them over. Is that possible to ask? That's not rude. Is that rude? I don't think so," Trump told executives from local automakers during a trip to Japan.
Japanese automakers have tried: The country's big three car companies already have huge factories in the U.S., and their production in the country is at a record high.

So sieht kuhige Dummheit in Verbindung mit Irrsinn und inherenter Schlechtigkeit aus:
Trump's Government of One
In late June, President Trump hosted a group of Native American tribal leaders at the White House and urged them to "just do it" and extract whatever they want from the land they control.
The exchange turned out to be an unusually vivid window into the almost kingly power that Trump sees himself as holding, and which he has begun describing with increasing bluntness. ...
"Chief, chief," Trump continued, addressing one of the tribal leaders, "what are they going to do? Once you get it out of the ground are they going to make you put it back in there? I mean, once it's out of the ground it can't go back in there. You've just got to do it. I'm telling you, chief, you've just got to do it."
The tribal leader looked back at one of the White House officials in the room — perhaps somebody from the White House Counsel's office — and he said "can we just do that?" The official equivocated, saying the administration is making progress and has a plan to roll back various regulations.
Trump interjected again: "Guys, I feel like you're not hearing me right now. We've just got to do it. I feel like we've got no choice; other countries are just doing it. China is not asking questions about all of this stuff. They're just doing it. And guys, we've just got to do it."
A second source in the room objects vehemently to the suggestion that Trump was asking the chiefs to just start drilling and break federal law. ...

Heute, am 7.Nov "feiern" wir Lenin.
Die Fake News Media hat Lenins Weisheit gelernt:
"mit halben Wahrheiten kann man auch Lügen"
"Trump feeds fish, winds up pouring entire box of food into koi pond"
http://edition.cnn.com/2017/11/06/politi...apan/index.html
"Amid the protocol and pageantry Monday, Trump and Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe paused for a lighter moment — to feed Asian carp fish in a koi pond. Trump concluded the activity by theatrically holding out his wooden box of feed and dumping it into the water packed with bright yellow and orange fish.
On the scene the move drew smiles and chuckles, including from Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. Then as photos circulated, Trump's critics quickly seized on it as an example of his impatient style. But a closer look at the video of the moment shows that both leaders started gently spooning feed into the pond and then Abe lightly tossed the rest of his box in. After that, Trump more dramatically tipped his over."

Carter Page's testimony is filled with bombshells — and supports key portions of the Steele dossier
The House Intelligence Committee released a transcript of former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page's testimony before the panel last week.
Some of the testimony supports details contained in what's become known as the Steele dossier.
Page revealed that he had met with Russian government officials and a top official at a state-owned oil giant during a 2016 trip to Moscow.
Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff confronted Page with an email he wrote on July 8 from Moscow to Trump campaign adviser J.D. Gordon saying that he had received "incredible insights and outreach from a few Russian legislators and senior members of the presidential administration here."
Former British spy Christopher Steele wrote in the dossier that an "official close to Presidential Administration Head, S. IVANOV, confided in a compatriot that a senior colleague in the Internal Political Department of the PA, DIVYEKIN (nfd) also had met secretly with PAGE on his recent visit."
According to that official in the dossier, Diveykin told Page that the Kremlin had a dossier of kompromat on Hillary Clinton that they wanted to give to the Trump campaign. ...

Trump campaign officials tried to swap access to Trump for favors from Russia at least 3 times
A Russian lawyer said Donald Trump Jr. told her that once elected, Donald Trump would review a US law sanctioning Russians in exchange for dirt on Hillary Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee.
It was the second of at least three times that a Trump campaign official alluded to swapping access to Trump for favors from Russia.
The pattern is likely to be of interest to Robert Mueller, the special counsel investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with Moscow to undermine Clinton before the election.

GOP tax plan would increase federal deficits beyond the limit, new analysis shows
A new analysis says the House GOP tax bill would reduce tax revenue by $1.7 trillion over the next 10 years.
That exceeds the $1.5 trillion permitted under the budget "reconciliation" rules that allow Senate Republicans to sidestep Democratic filibusters.
The report shows that the House GOP bill would increase federal deficits substantially in the short and long run in ways that would vastly increase the difficulty of passing it in the Senate. The report comes from the University of Pennsylvania's Penn-Wharton economic model directed by Kent Smetters, a former economic advisor to President George W. Bush.

Offshore cash helped fund Steve Bannon's attacks on Hillary Clinton
Robert Mercer, whose spending assisted Donald Trump’s election win, used tax haven of Bermuda to avoid US taxes
But the financial arrangements of another foundation, which bankrolled Bannon’s creation of the book, Clinton Cash, have received less scrutiny.
Leaked documents and newly obtained public filings show how the billionaire Mercer family built a $60m war chest for conservative causes inside their family foundation by using an offshore investment vehicle to avoid US tax.
The offshore vehicle was part of a network of companies in the Atlantic tax haven of Bermuda led by Robert Mercer, the wealthy hedge-fund executive and Bannon patron whose spending helped put Trump in the White House and aided a resurgence of the Republican right.
Mercer, 71, appears as a director of eight Bermuda companies in the Paradise Papers, a trove of millions of leaked documents on offshore finance reviewed by the Guardian, the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and other partners. The files include a copy of Mercer’s US passport and other private data.

Ein exzellentes Assessment von Reza Aslan:
The dangerous cult of Donald Trump
I'm not the first person to point this out: There’s been a cultish quality to President Trump’s most ardent supporters. He seemed to acknowledge the phenomenon when he boasted that he could “stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody” and not lose voters.
Throughout the campaign, and in personal appearances since then, Trump has harnessed the kind of emotional intensity from his base that is more typical of a religious revival meeting than a political rally, complete with ritualized communal chants (“Lock her up!”).
As we approach the one-year anniversary of Trump’s election victory, the zeal of some of his followers seems increasingly akin to a full-fledged cult.
Trump has been spectacularly successful at getting his supporters to believe his blandishments rather than their own eyes.
The authority that a cult leader exercises comes from his self-ascribed role as the one true information source for his followers. Competing ideas and facts are not just wrong; they are demonic.

Carter Page Coordinated Russia Trip With Top Trump Campaign Officials
Former Trump campaign volunteer Carter Page, who has come under scrutiny in the investigation of Russian election interference, told a House committee that he sought permission for a July 2016 trip to Moscow from senior Trump campaign officials, and reported to other Trump officials about the trip when he returned.
It’s long been known that Page traveled to Moscow in July 2016, but he has said it was in his private capacity, unrelated to his role with the Trump campaign.
Page, whose sworn testimony was released Monday night, told the House Intelligence Committee last week that he sought permission to make the trip from campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, and also notified Hope Hicks, who is now the White House communications director. ....
... Page also acknowledged that he had been aware that another volunteer campaign adviser, George Papadopoulos, had been meeting with a professor with links to the Kremlin, according to the committee's ranking Democrat, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif.
Papadopoulos has pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI and is cooperating with special counsel Robert Mueller.
Both men served on a campaign foreign policy advisory committee under the supervision of Jeff Sessions, who was then a senator and is now the attorney general. Page testified he told Sessions about the July 2016 Moscow trip, it has been previously reported.
